The “Gun-of-the-Year” for 2000 is a K-80 12 gauge Trap gun, equipped with 30”, IM/F, tapered-flat barrels and adjustable stock in the best grade Turkish walnut. The highlight of this gun is the artistry of master engraver Gregor Stoegner who, inspired by the works of American Western artist Charles M. Russel, has created a highly engraved receiver of satin finish nickel featuring scenes of cowboys at work and play. A pierced top lever together with fine gold line work and a gold adjustable trigger accent the receiver which is fully engraved. This fine Krieghoff is an outstanding firearm, certainly worthy of “Gun-of-the-Year” honors.
