In the rich history of the Krieghoff Gun Company which spans well over a century, the drilling might be the kind of gun the company is best known for among gun connoisseurs. The Neptun Primus full sidelock drilling has always been Krieghoff’s flagship among the drillings and the 2002 Gun of the Year is a fine example of this tradition. Built in 20/20 gauge with 3 inch chambers and 8x57JRS the gun is absolutely magnificent. Master engraver Gregor Stoegner created an engraving scene which depicts the best of European game and tradition. The nitride finish with the light/dark color contrasts enhances the engraving in a unique way.
