Trap

Trap

You can’t say the word trapshooting in the United States without mentioning the Grand American. First held in 1900, the Grand called Vandalia, OH home from 1923 until 2006. The 2006 Grand American moved to the state of the art World Shooting Complex in Sparta, IL. It was at the inaugural Grand in Sparta, Handicap Champion Kay Ohye became the first and only ever to win all five major national trapshooting titles.
The notable Krieghoff moments continue with Harlan Campbell Jr.'s 2007 HOA Championship and Richard Marshall Jr's 2008 Doubles Championship win. Krieghoff trapshooters enjoy a long history of success not only at the Grand American, but also at numerous state and zone championships around the country.
