The National Shotgun Championships held recently in Colorado Springs, offered a glimpse of the power American shooters will bring to the 2012 Olympics. Among those showing promise for Gold in 2012, were several Krieghoff shooters who were strong competitors in each event.

Jacob Turner’s tenacity earned him a 2^nd Place overall finish in Men’s Trap. Kayle Browning showed great strength as Woman’s Junior Trap Champion.  Ryan Hadden and Josh Webb combined efforts for the 3-Man and 2-Man Team Trap Gold medals.  Billy Crawford, Jr. took 3^rd in the Junior Double Trap event.

Krieghoff shooters did very well in Skeet with Jon Michael McGrath taking second overall and winning the Jr. Championship title. Frank Thompson placed 4^th and Sean McLelland placed in the top ten.

Caitlin Connor came on strong in both the Women’s and Junior categories, placing 2^nd in Women’s and winning the Junior Women’s category.  Morgan Craft finished 3^rd in the Jr. Women category, rounding out the successes enjoyed by Krieghoff shooters.
