Our young shooters continue to generate excitement as Jon Michael McGrath and Caitlin Connor win Gold in Junior Men and Women’s Skeet at the 2010 Junior Olympic Shooting Championships.
McGrath propelled himself from fourth place to the top with a perfect 25x25 in the final round. Missing just five targets, McGrath posted a strong performance to win the Gold by a two target lead.
Fierce was the word used to describe the competition between Caitlin Connor and fellow Team USA member Jaiden Grinnell. Connor’s consistently strong performance secured her top place finish by a five-target lead. Morgan Craft took home the Bronze Medal, making a total of three medals won by Krieghoff shooters.
The outstanding performances by McGrath, Connor and Craft will no doubt be repeated by Team USA at the World Championships which kicks off on July 29, 2010 in Munich, Germany. Krieghoff is proud to be a sponsor of this international competition.
