KX-5

	A pure single barrel trap gun, the KX-5 features all of the attributes of the KS-5 Special plus many refinements and new features. Available in 34" or 32"** with choke tubes, the KX-5 has a fully adjustable rib which allows you to lower or raise the point of impact, a hallmark of Krieghoff trap guns.
	Calibrated at the factory to achieve a 65% / 35% pattern, the unique adjustable rib allows you to change point-of-impact quickly and conveniently. By altering the height of the rib via a dial at the muzzle you can vary the pattern from flat shooting 50% / 50% to nearly 90% / 10% high. When the desired rib height is reached, and the set screws are tightened, you may alter the height of the adjustable comb of the KX-5 stock for your preferred sight picture and the gun is ready to go.
	The KX-5 features a new forend iron design with a push button lock, providing a better and stronger latch to the barrel. Part of the forend iron which matches the receiver is visible, similar to the K-80. In addition to strength, this gives the receiver a more elegant streamlined look. The popular position adjustable trigger, borrowed from the K-80, can now also be found on the KX-5. For quick target pick-up with reduced heat distortion, the KX-5 has a ventilated tapered step rib. The trigger pull is easily adjustable for both weight and sear engagement. A release trigger is also available.
