Krieghoff Shooters Compete at ACUI Championships

Congratulations to all of our Krieghoff shooters who competed at the ACUI Championships in San Antonio this past week.  Nick Boerboon, Zach Nannini, Brad Beckmann, Myles Walker, Kie Kababik and Quinten Smith are just a few of our dedicated young shooters that represent us so well!

Brad Beckmann and Myles Walker excelled specifically in wobble trap on Friday, March 27th. Both earned their place on the first place wobble trap team while Brad earned an individual bronze medal in this event, 19th overall.  On Sunday, March 29, Zach Nannini shot a perfect 100 straight in American trap to be a part of the first place American trap team as well.  Kie Kababik from Hillsdale College also shot exceptionally well in the American events. He shot 100 straights in both American skeet and American trap to earn him the Combined American Events Award. After shooting off against 12 other competitors who shot a qualifying score of 100 in American trap, Kie took the silver medal. Individually, Nick Boerboon tied for the Combined International Skeet and International Trap Events Award. Nick and Will Thomas then shot well enough to make both the first place American Skeet team and the first place International Skeet team.  At the conclusion of the ACUI collegiate national championships Nick Boerboon, Will Thomas,  Zach Nannini and Brad Beckmann had the honor of being named to the All-American team for placing 8th, 12th, 18th, and 19th, respectively.
