The National Shooting Complex hosted the 2017 World English Championships in San Antonio, Texas April 25th through 27th in San Antonio, Texas.  Over 900 shooters attended from all over the world to compete for the world title.  The usual suspects were on hand to battle touch, world class targets and it got down to a Super 7 Final including several world champions.

Congratulations to Bobby Fowler Jr. on taking his score main event score of 185 combined with his 22 in the shoot-off to secure the championship with a total score of 210.   It was a full Krieghoff podium with Ben Husthwaite in the runner-up position.  Ben started the competition with 89, but hit his stride with the top score on Sunday of 96. His momentum carried him into the final where he hit 22, the highest score of the shoot-off, for a total of 207.  Gebben Miles also posted a 185 in the main event but found himself in a tie with George Digweed after the Super 7 final with 205.  Gebben secured third place after a shoot-off, completing the podium with Krieghoff shooters.  Gary W. Walstrom was Super Vetran Champion and Kevin DeMichiel won Super Sporting. Great job by all of our shooters. Click here to see full results.
