Krieghoff shooters have World Class scores at World Skeet Championships

17 Oct Krieghoff shooters have World Class scores at World Skeet Championships

Skeet shooters made their annual journey in early October to the World Skeet Championships in San Antonio, Texas. The scores were fierce during the Mini World events with Katherine Adams winning the ladies title in the 12 Gauge event while Mike Schmidt won the .410 Open event. After a full weekend of competition, Ryan Smithart started out the Main Championship week with 3rd place in the Doubles and Runner Up in the 28 Gauge. We had a full Krieghoff podium for the 20 Gauge event, with Sam Armstrong winning his third world title, Christian Elliott placing Runner Up, and Todd Bender third. Stuart Brown missed only one target in the .410 event to win the High Over All Championship with the only score of 449/450. Jay Bunting was just down two target with the Doubles event included and shot off to win his very first Open World Championship title in the High All Around event. Thanks to all of our shooters who attended and represented us so well, including but not limited to, Michael Ferchaw, Robert Paxton, Dirk Proffer, Nick Marsden, Lindsay Plesko, John Castillo, Randy Bates, Dustan Taylor, Caile Bradham, Matt Fallon and Houston Deshotels.
