22 Aug Krieghoff shooters produce impressive results at 115th Grand American
Krieghoff shooters competed during the week of August 11th in Sparta, Illinois at the 115th Grand American Trap Shoot. The following are some of the highlights for our shooters:
CLAY TARGET CHAMPIONSHIP
Stu Welton won the CLAY TARGET CHAMPIONSHIP (Singles) Ricky Marshall was 2nd. Hardy Musselman won the Juniors, Jake Turner 4th –AAA Champion. Janessa Beaman came in 3rd in the Ladies.
Sean Hawley placed 2nd in the DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP, Stu Welton was 5th.
GRAND AMERICAN HANDICAP
Adam Stefkovich won the HANDICAP with a 100 straight shooting a K-80 Trap Special Over-Under. Elaina McCarthy won the Ladies with 98 x 100 and was also Runner Up in the Ladies Grand High All Around.
OTHER NOTABLE MENTIONS:
Ricky Marshall won the Prelim Grand Handicap a day prior to the main event Handicap with a 100 straight from 27 yds.
Debbie Ohye-Neilson shot very consistent and won several trophies. She won the Ladies HOA both during Prelim and Grand week.
Harlan Campbell, Sean Hawley, RickyMarshall all shot very consistent and won a several of trophies.
Mike Blaisdell did well in the Sub-Veterans, as well as Frank Pascoe.
Kay Ohye took some trophies in the Sr.Veterans.
Kie Kababik shot well in the Junior division and broke 200 in the Clay Target Championship, taking Runner Up in the Jr. Gold. There were a total of five 200’s in the Juniors, making competition very tough.
